PNIcube 2023, National Innovation Award: success of Soundsafe Care, a spinoff of Scuola Sant'Anna, which won the Young Entrepreneur Program-YEP Award. The award given at the closing event in Milan
Milan hosted the 21st edition of the National Innovation Award (PNI), the competition aimed at the most innovative entrepreneurial projects born from research in the innovation sectors "Cleantech & Energy," "Life Sciences-MED Tech," "ICT," and "Industrial." An award also went to Soundsafe Care, a spinoff of Sant'Anna School.
Unique of its kind in Italy and Europe, the PNICube network today has 55 members among Universities, academic incubators and other entities for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, involving 17 Italian regions through 16 regional Start Cups, and is aimed at promoting the creation and development of enterprises with high knowledge content and high social impact.
During the 2023 edition, 71 entrepreneurial projects selected by 16 regional Start Cups were presented, including the projects selected by StartCup Toscana in November 2023.
For Tuscany, the first 3 winning projects of the Start Cup participated, respectively Clepio Biotech (University of Florence - Life Sciences MEDTech), Fluid Wire Robotics (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna - Industrial), Soundsafe Care, (Scuola Superiore Sant' Anna - Life Sciences MEDTech) and InnoMarble (Scuola Normale Superiore - CleanTech & Energy) fifth finalist who was awarded the Green&Blue special mention.
Soundsafe Care entered the national final in the top four best innovation projects in Italy in the Life Sciences MEDTech sector and received one of the grants made available by the Young Entrepreneur Program-YEP Award.
